Davidson Cloud Glass Bowl in Amethyst, Art Deco Era

A beautiful c.1930s Davidson Cloud Glass bowl in a rich amethyst tone, with swirling marbled patterning and a gently flared rim. Cloud Glass was a signature design by Davidson during the Art Deco period, created by swirling darker coloured glass through a paler base to achieve a smoky, layered effect unique to each piece.

This example features a stepped footed base and wide, shallow profile, ideal for adding shape, colour, and texture to a styled surface. The amethyst tone is deep and translucent, with natural variation that catches the light beautifully.

Perfect for shelf styling, dressing a sideboard or coffee table, or using as a decorative catchall. Its low shape and expressive colour make it especially effective when layered with books, vintage florals or other glassware.
