Indian Benares Brass Lidded Jar with Animal and Floral Engraving

This Indian Benares brass lidded jar is a richly decorative piece showcasing the intricate artistry that Varanasi metalwork is known for. Below, the body of the jar is embellished with scrolling floral motifs, stylised peacocks, and lotus-like blooms in a repeating design.
