Vintage ceramics with real character: studio pottery, hand painted dishes, decorative platters and one off finds that work just as well on a wall or a shelf as on a table.

I look for pieces with a bit of life in them. A painterly glaze, a wobble in the rim, a brushstroke that is slightly off. These are the signs of a real hand at work, and exactly what makes old ceramics better company than new ones.

Some are by known makers, many are unsigned, all are chosen on merit. Layer them into everyday life or give one as a gift that no one else will duplicate.
