Hosta Lilies Original Watercolour, Signed and Dated 1974

A faithful depiction of a hosta plant in full bloom. Hostas are among my favourite garden plants, known for their spectacular foliage and their wonderfully low-maintenance nature.

This original watercolour captures the elegance of the plant with delicate brushstrokes and a gentle, observational quality. It is signed and dated by the artist (1974), and has been lovingly framed. There are a couple of small chips to the frame, but these do not detract from the artwork and instead add to its vintage appeal.

This would be a beautiful addition to a bathroom or guest bedroom, where its soft tones and botanical subject bring a calming presence to the space.
