Antique Bohemian Porcelain Platter in White with Floral Detail

A beautifully elegant large oval serving platter in crisp white porcelain, finished with delicate floral sprays in warm golden ochre tones and a softly moulded scroll rim. It has that proper old world table charm, the kind of piece that makes even a simple console styling feel considered.

Use it as an easy centrepiece on a dining table with candles and a small vase, or style it on a sideboard for fruit and seasonal display. It also looks brilliant propped upright on open shelving where the shape of the rim and the floral detail can be appreciated, especially in a neutral kitchen where you want a subtle lift without going full colour.

On the underside it is stamped Springer and Co, Elbogen, with the pattern or line name Senta. Springer and Co were one of the Bohemian porcelain firms associated with Elbogen, a historic ceramics centre, and pieces like this are often found from the early to mid 1900s.

Measures 51 x 37 x 5 cm. Good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age.
