Pair of Vintage French Quimper Olive Bowls with Breton Figures

A charming pair of vintage French Quimper olive bowls, each hand painted with a classic Breton figure and finished with those joyful fan shaped side handles in lively brushstrokes. They bring instant French farmhouse character to a table, and they look just as good styled on open shelving as they do in use.

Perfect for olives, nuts, petits fours, or a little pinch bowl moment while you cook. If you love styling, these are brilliant layered into a kitchen dresser display with blue and white ceramics, brass candlesticks, and a stack of linen napkins. They also make a lovely gift for a Quimper collector or anyone building a colourful, characterful tablescape.

Sold as a pair. Each bowl measures 16 x 10 x 6 cm. Both bowls have small areas of paint loss. One bowl also has a small chip to the rim. All wear is consistent with age and use and is reflected in the price.
