Vintage Quimper Handled Wall Dish with Petit Breton Figure

A lovely French Quimper faience handled dish, hand painted with a traditional Petit Breton figure and framed with a deep blue rim. Pieces like this are so collectable because they feel full of life and movement, with brushwork you can actually see, and that is exactly the charm of Quimper.

This one has a hole at the tip of the handle, so it is ready to hang on a kitchen wall as part of a blue and white gallery.
