Set of Four Vintage Henriot Quimper Faience Plates with Hand Painted Shells and Starfish

This beautiful set of 4 vintage Henriot Quimper faience plates is richly decorative, with hand painted seashells, starfish and seaweed fronds set against a deep black ground. Each plate measures 14 cm across and carries the Henriot Quimper mark to the reverse.

Each plate features a different sea inspired motif, including a coral starfish, a yellow conch, a pink scallop and a white shell, all surrounded by trailing green seaweed detail. The contrast between the dark ground and the colourful hand painted decoration gives the set a striking coastal feel, while the scalloped edge adds further charm and movement.

These plates work beautifully alongside the matching Henriot Quimper oval platter, creating a coordinated French coastal table setting or wall display.
